HUNGER

WRITTEN BY CHIDORDOR

Laying in wait, crunching, fantasizing yet strategizing, plotting, scheming, taking calculated steps with each step aimed at devouring its prey ……… will man conquer or be conquered?

Every man is hungry for something, love, food, knowledge,  power, accomplishment, success or loyalty, etc. this is why they do everything in their power to get that which they so desperately seek. a greater percentage of it is engineered by the society by which man finds himself, imagine been born into a society where your existence and your relevance is dependent upon what you as a man can bring to the table. a greater percentage of men would do everything humanly possible to stay relevant and have value, some might even go the extra mile.

What fuels or appeals to this drive, is the innate pride a man has and also the pure passion man has to satisfy his needs. An economist, Adams Smith helps us to understand that human needs are endless and insatiable. The conquering of one gives birth to another, the rat race never ends and psychology has made us understand that after conquering one there is a fire burning deep to go for the next one.

What do you want out of life?…. What are you hungry for?…. Are you ready to make sacrifices?….are you willing to go the extra mile if need be ?…. Do you trust yourself well enough to make the right decisions when the time come?…. Do you have the necessary ally, in my case God.

The ball is in your court I hope you make the right decision when the need arises.
