DANGER LIFE LOOMING IN THE POLITY

Little did we realise that democratic processes would get to this spurious and pseudo level. I am not writing to those who don’t love Nigeria, my message is to patriotic Nigerians.

How do we solve the shrinking of democratic processes? How do we know the right person to vote for? How do we change the same people moving from one house to another? What will happen to the polity if politics is being played like this?

The dance drama across the states preparing for gubernatorial elections is something to notice. We see how politicians are dancing to the drums of securing power by all means. Political wind has been blowing politicians around different houses.

Godfatherism is moving to the limelight in a unique dimension. Desperate politicians go extra miles to get what they want no matter what.

What do we do when broom scatters and when the umbrella have been perforated? Where cometh the messiah?

Polity

Political parties provide options for the masses as primary elections give room for candidates people will select in the elections. The politics is getting hot and it will in turn affect the polity. Danger is surely looming.

The polity is the environment where people live, politicians play politics in the polity. Shouldn’t we be guided on how to protect the polity?

You and I must be careful not to be the victim of the circumstance. Be careful what you say and how you support politicians, be a part of safeguarding the politics and polity in Nigeria.

God bless Nigeria.
