ABOMINABLE
Alas! Shadows now the people on our streets
Making merry an ordeal situation,
I’ve danced death but not this beat,
Doctors alone can’t save this lamentation.
The crowns and rags are not spared,
Holistically it treats all equal,
In pains we found solace on our dead,
Sadly, coughing to death is the sequel.
Pants and bras broke in tears,
As our mornings turn dark,
“No public gathering” begets fears,
Devoid of hope and courage spark.
Every now and then there is a ban,
Mankind at its darkest hour,
Is Man kind to man?
Can one be saved from its power?
Ceaselessly watch and maintain hygiene,
Only death have seen the end of the virus,
Ventilator, the blood of our quarantine,
In this ordeal, hygiene could save us,
Do not panic or die before you live,
19 thousand ways to die, why not live?
Self isolate and avoid touching the face,
Text NCDC in event of any symptom,
Avoid tempting crowd and stay at a place,
You and I can always make it a phantom.
Sit at home and pray for our doctors
As they battle to keep us safe,
Find comfort on the feet of our protector,
Endlessly maintain hygiene and stay safe!
