YOU ARE ENOUGH – ADEDAYO ADEMOKOYA
It has been a long year for some. A short year for others. Some have struggled to accomplish goals and others have a rush of goals being accomplished.
Let me say to you here that you should not compare your progress with others because you are enough and you are you. I understand that you have struggled to get things at optimum level this year but that doesn’t mean you’re a failure. It doesn’t mean that you did not have some successes this year.
You are enough, don’t be intimidated by what you’re seeing on social media. They are just edited pictures and they are serving their purpose; to intimidate. Don’t fall for it. You are enough through the stress of life that the year brought and you survived.
Yes, you don’t want to survive but that what you just did throughout this year. You wanted to live but have you thought of the reason you still wake everyday without you dying in your sleep?
It’s because you are not done here yet. You’re here to impact and impact you shall! Have you forgotten that because you survived you will live?
You might have survived this year but sooner than you expect, you will be living your life.
Don’t dwell on the failures. I know it’s hard because you felt that you made little or no progress. See, it seems like eternity for the gold when it is in the fire but what happens to it after passing through that fire?
It becomes shiny and adorable. You are adorable. You should know that.
We all need people at a point in our lives. We need them to lean on, to draw support from but everything still boils down to each individual person because after the leaning, everybody expects you to stand on your own. You are enough and you are you.
If the only achievement is staying alive this year, then you’re the real champion. Go soft on yourself because you are real, you are enough. You are enough. You are enough. You are enough and you are you!
