INTERVIEW WITH THE AERE-AMPHIBIOUS CAR INVENTOR; JIROJIEYE KEHINDE OBASANJO
SHARE THIS POST:

JIROJIEYE KEHINDE OBASANJO is a Nigerian of Ogun state origin, from Ijaye in Abeokuta North local government area of the state.

However, he was born and bred in Lagos Island area of Lagos state. Obasanjo who called himself a renowned inventor in Nigeria has lived in Lagos for many years prior to inventing what he called an “aero amphibious jet car”.

According to Obasanjo, the jet car can move on land, water and air but of the three operations, he has been able to achieve two (land and water).

To prove that the jet car could move on land, he drove the car from Lagos through Warri to Port Harcourt and thereafter to Owerri through Onitsha to Asaba.

JIROJIEYE KEHINDE OBASANJO was in Bowen University, Iwo recently, where he was interviewed by ZOOM cinematography and production.

INTERVIEWER: Hello, my name is Oluwadasimi from ZOOM Cinematography and Production, and with me is our special guest. Please Sir, can you introduce yourself?

RESPONSE: ” My name is JIROJIEYE KEHINDE OBASANJO, Nigerian renowned inventor”

INTERVIEWER: I really like your last statement: Nigerian Renowned Inventor. So how did you come up with the idea of what you invented?

RESPONSE: ” I was inspired by creative distance, simply urge for creativity. Seeing other countries, developed countries building advanced technologies, so I want us to be part of it. That was what simply motivated me to it.”

INTERVIEWER: WOW, okay Sir. So how long did this invention take you to accomplish?

RESPONSE: “Hmmm, I think i started right from my childhood age, between age five (5) six (6) and now it is barely twenty something years”

INTERVIEWER: WOW, that was an early start. OK, my next question; was there any point in time you felt like giving up?

RESPONSE: ” There is no how you will come about this without facing challenges but in that time i give glory to God because God encourage me and people around me kept me going. I experienced some kind of challenges but God saw me through.”

INTERVIEWER: How many kilometers per hour can your invention travel?

RESPONSE: ” There is one that can move 110 kilometers per hour, others 280, 230 and co but there is one that can move 60 kilometers, so it depends on the version, that is it.”

INTERVIEWER: How do you see the evolution of the transport system of the world in the next 5 – 10 years?

RESPONSE: “That is what I’m saying, you can imagine in five to six years’ time seeing people carrying a car that if there is earthquake, it will just take off or you just decide to be on water, you know, that will evolve the transport system.”

INTERVIEWER: Ok Sir, so how do you measure success?

RESPONSE: “How I measure success is determination for you to have availability for continuity in the 99thtimes failure, that is Success”.

INTERVIEWER: Finally, Sir what will be your advice to upcoming inventors?

RESPONSE: “To always look inward and use their initiative and with determination and focus, they can get to wherever they want to get to and to put God first!.”

INTERVIEWER: Thanks so much Sir, we really appreciate the time given to Us to interview you. On behalf of ZOOM Cinematography and Productions, we say a very big Thank You.
