TOPIC: The Tenacity of Nigerian Youths in National Development and Leadership Roles.
the garden of seasonal hopes that
Holds smiles in between our chests
Like purple flowers full of productivity
Even though we are thrown into agony
Our mouth will never stop to speak in volume.
Strong tenacity that creates space
In places block by wrong fingers of our leaders
And we still spell our roles by the potency of our names
Because we are young youth yawning for freedom
In a country where everyone speak the language of war.
the sentence that clear the ellipsis of our leaders
Tending to make peace and build a strong holds
Because there is more to guns than bullets
Even though we never get rest at the end of a trigger
We will never speak in silence for it is cowardice!
the language only the deaf understands
Because we only speak out what we feel not what we see
Then how do we attack the wrong actions of our leaders?
Even though we live in a country where nothing ends well
We still dive into the pain to fetch out the wrong doings.
the definition of equality in equity
Where our smiles are kept inside a bag of rice
Which serves our ignorance with edible plight
until we become the country we dreamt about
We will never stop to write what is right!
