MY SOLAR ECLIPSE
I don’t know how I ended up here
I don’t know why my legs brought me here
My indwelling
I’ve been trying to move on
I’ve been trying to focus on what lies ahead
But each time
My mind keeps on going back to my past
It’s like a piece of me is still there
The sun is my future
I am the moon
It feels like two moons embracing the sun
The moon from my past
That’s me in the past
The moon in my present
That’s me right now
Both fighting
Wanting to fully cover the sun
My solar eclipse
Two moons can’t stand together
Not when there’s one sun
I need closure
My legs brought me to closure
.
