At the whistle of the wind
He hurried
Cutting down the stems like a hurricane.
His ache from agony throbbed
But still he kept on—
The ignorance!
He thought he knew strength.
Into the sea he bolted
Like lightening
Gasping his way through
Against the tempest.
To prove he knew fear—He leaped out of the water
Upon an island as deserted as his mind.
Oh! The ache in his heart.
Yet he yelled with fury
To hide the truth from himself:
It tore him apart.
An ignorant soul.
