DON’T LET ME FADE AWAY – BY ADEGBITE ARINOLA
SHARE THIS POST:

Can you decode my silence?
Are you ready to embrace my flaws?
Will you stand by me
Even when I’m the cause of your tears?
Your shadows traumatized me
And your absence hunt me.
Are those feelings no more?
You slammed the door.
Steadily on my face
My heart running endless race
Be good to me
For when am gone,
You will realise am rare.
This is not just for the ears,
Though I wished I’d let go,
But those sweet evocative memories,
Come the nice time we shared;
They all won’t allow it happen,
Why don’t you explore the moment?
Let me not fade away.
Because if I do,
You will scream my name
And it won’t ease your pain
And it will take you years to get me back,
I mean back into your world.
