I CAN’T BE HER. BY ADEGBITE ARINOLA

Stop nagging at me
I can’t be her
You always imposing on me
In a jiffy I lost my pride
If I’m her,
Then I don’t want to be me.
Like smoke,
I’m shrinking into thin air
Guess I’m a stain in your heart.
Here alone I reminisced
My attention!
You don’t deserve it.
Desperately I search for you
Across the ocean,
Until I start sinking
All effort prove abortive
Just because I can’t be her.
