ILLUSION. BY ADEGBITE ARINOLA 2
Crazy illusion engraving my heart
Will the spell set me free?
Memories turned to past that hunt
Feelings fading away by the hour of time
Addicted to the sage of life
Eager to have a taste of the afterlife
Lost and drowned in my own thought
The heart became translucent like veil
Disguised to put a smile on my face
Sanity disrupt the flow of mercy
Even though all effort bring no gain,
Will they acknowledge us in pain?
A stain is sometimes hard to erase.
As bright as the sun,
The hour will come.

And all pain will be over.
