YOU WERE FULL OF PRETENCE. BY ADEGBITE ARINOLA

All that I have been through,
They all seems to be true.
Yet I don’t want to believe
You weren’t there on Christmas Eve.
All those empty space,
Made me ran endless race.
I don’t need your apologies
Your daily atrocities filled my diary
Your lies made me weary.
You failed to notice my silence

You were full of pretence.
I couldn’t withstand your wrath
Nor clear your doubts.
In tears i want you.
Despite having you,
I thought I was enough
But I wasn’t enough.
