MENDING MY HEART IN LONELINESS. BY ADEGBITE ARINOLA

It wasn’t you I craved for
Steadily you shut the door
You broke my heart
Like a vase placed in the wind.
Planted my love in your heart
You failed to water it
And slowly I dried off.
Pain doesn’t hurt
But scar ache.
Will care less about the past
And focus on mending my heart
For my happiness,
I will stay glue to myself
Loneliness weakens my soul
For many years
My daily pills was tears.
Breath in agony,
My lungs extract less air
To smile I can’t even dare.
