REFLECTION. BY ADEGBITE ARINOLA

Beneath our heart?
The mirror won’t reflect
Our shadow tends to react
Hope turned to be roads,
But no shadow
We think less of retribution
Sanity disrupt thy blessings
Illusion of darkness
Life full of anguish
Yet we never change
Far and near
We’re stagnant and hopeless
Past is a mere illusion
The future!
Scared to confront
Wish for the moment pass
But they are quick and fast
Emptiness captured my soul in frenzy
Unending power weigh down the mind
Obstacle ahead of success
Hope to live beyond expectations
Longing to overcome endless imagination.
